I took this photo in Plaza de Mayo.
This is a busy area with lots of symbols of Buenos Aires. I looked for a unique angle to capture some of the symbols. The focus is on the white shawl painted on the ground, which symbolizes the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo. These white shawls are painted all around the plaza with the May Pyramid in the middle.

I watched a really interesting Argentine film about the “disappeared ones” from the perspective of a teenage girl who is told that the people she thinks are her parents are not, and they take her away to live with her real grandparents. My understanding is that they are using blood tests now to try and identify situations like this. Of course it is a political mess and a terrible situation for everyone involved.

I can see why people have told you that you have a thing for angles, that’s the first thing I noticed about this photo. I really like the perspective.
