This was never a huge desire for me. Sure, I knew that glaciers are what contribute to the beauty of this region, but I never expected to be this affected by being so close to one.

I’m a glacier fan! Calafate was the part of the trip I most looked forward to and enjoyed because of that! Hope I can go back one day and see more glaciers in that area (and elsewhere in the world :). Did you do the mini-trekking? It was the most unbelievable experience to walk on this glacier and be surrounded by all that beauty! I miss all these glaciers, I wish I could take them home with me!

Yep… going to post about the trekking on Monday. I really had no idea how huge the impact of seeing this glacier would be. I could have sat there for hours watching it.
