20 months, 1000s of photos… Help pick my prints!

I have been back in my home in Columbus for five months.

I still have blank walls and empty photo frames.

I simply cannot decide which of my thousands of photos I want on my walls.

So I need your help.

And I want to give you something in return.

Help me pick my prints and win an 8”x10”canvas print!

Canvas prints are a creative option for displaying photos.  Choose one of my photos or one of your own.

But first you have to help me pick MY prints :-)

How it works

It’s pretty simple.  I’m going to do this in two installments (because I just cannot narrow down the photos any further myself).  The photos below are for the landscape category.  Take a look and then click on the link to the survey.  You can choose up to 4 photos you think are most deserving of wall space.

  1. Not sure if it’s just me, but I can’t click on any of the options to select photos in the link. I like 4, 9, 13 and 16 the most though!

      • It is still not working for me. I am able to fill out the name and email part, and type in the ‘other’ area. Maybe it is something with my computer or because I’m currently in Korea (but do have a US mailing address). I entered just by typing what photos I like the most in the ‘other’ box. Hope that works because they are great pics!

    I think all of them are wall-worthy, really stunning shots! My favorite is #18 and a close second is #10 and #15. Here is why – because they have you in them. By that I mean, this was your sabbatical and “big goal” trip and you should be in the subject. These photos are going on your wall in your home. As such, I like the idea of you being in the photos in your home. If you were asking for votes on which shots to submit to a photography contest, I -might- choose differently.

    I guess it is the difference between “This is me at Valle de los Condores” vs. “This was shot at Valle de los Condores”.

    • I have been terrible about taking photos of myself during my travels. I’m just so picky about framing, and it can be difficult to find someone who can take the photo with a D-SLR (even setting everything up and tell them to just click the button). The Valle de los Condores shot I set up myself and did with a timer…. several takes to get it right. The O-H-I-O was shot by our guide who actually is an excellent (and published) photographer.

  9. I’d say 9 and 11, I would go for the warm colors, but that a personal choice 😉
    The others are nice too, but they are like colder, if you understand what I mean. (I’m not really interested in the contest, I just want to let you know what I think ;-))

  14. I did this a few years ago…most of the pictures on the walls are mine.
    Now to help you: If colour doesn’t matter & you know the people in the pictures…then I choose #3, 5, 10 & 18. Good Luck!

  15. You definitely have a tough choice ahead of you! Good luck. I can’t believe I chose 4 photos in a row, but I love 11, 12, 13, 14, They are all so different, yet equally beautiful.
