This photo was taken in the courtyard of Manzana de las Luces, an historical landmark in Buenos Aires.
This is quite different than most of the historical architecture you see in the city.
I took this photo because I really liked the natural light coming in from the courtyard on the left and the lines and patterns.

I love the pattern on the roof.

It was such an interesting structure, especially compared the rest of the downtown area.

If you like Jesuit buildings, you definitely should go to San Ignacio Mini. (or another place in the region where there are jesuit reductions from the guarani)
I went there a couple of months ago, I thought it would be kind of disappointing so I only scheduled about 1,5 hours (it was just before catching a bus back home, after visiting Iguazú) and I loved it, I was disappointed I didn’t have more time to explore!.
You would love taking pictures there!

I love tall courtyards like this – they have so much character. There are a ton of them on the Stanford campus in CA, and I can just wander them for hours and be happy.

I often feel that people in the past put in more thoughts and hard work into the building amazing architectural wonders than nowadays. (Most modern buildings now are so boring for some reason XD)

One of the things I really like in Buenos Aires is that the architects “sign” their buildings like works of art.
