At first I thought this was just cheese on a stick.
As much as I love cheese, there are more interesting things to try.
Then the man told me it was NOT just cheese on a stick.
This is cheese and YUCA on a stick.
When I was in Nicaragua, I discovered yuca for the first time and decided this starch is so much tastier than potatoes.
I had every intention of eating just half of this because, well, that’s a LOT of cheese. But I couldn’t stop myself. It is a good thing I am leaving Tarija, or I would be eating cheese and yuca on a stick everyday!
I don’t think I have ever tried yuca. Sounds interesting.

I’m all about yuca. It changed our lives! But serious – yuca chips are much better than potato AND I love yuca bread (with cheese).

Someone just posted on my Facebook page that they have Brazilian grilled cheese on a stick on all the beaches, and it’s fantastic. You must find some!

And I thought it’s a cheese on stick too! Yuca looks like the same with the use for shawarma.. I haven’t taste this, not even see it in the market. I love to try this too!
