Dear, Charleston –
I cannot believe I waited this long to meet you. We only had a week together, but I am completely smitten.
You have lots of great restaurants.
You even have good beer.
You are a bike-friendly city.
And to top it off, you are absolutely gorgeous.
It is not just the palm trees and millionaire homes.
Charleston has a unique beauty.
It’s a mix of historical grandeur and shabby beach town. It’s a little quirky.
I could walk around for hours taking photos.
I DID walk around for hours taking photos.

What a beautiful town! As far as I know Charleston is not in most tourists’ radar. So I’m glad you went there and captured the beautiful and unique parts of it.
Stephanie - The Travel Chica says
It wasn’t on my radar until my friends decided to have a destination wedding there.

We loved the architecture in Charleston – such a beautiful city! Love all your pictures. Did you make it out to any of the plantations while you were in town?

No, I didn’t go outside the main part of the city. In addition to the wedding, this trip was a much-needed vacation, so I didn’t want to do much of anything besides eat and walk around.

Beautifully photographed and well said about what made you fall in love with the city. I was there for the first time in September for my niece’s wedding. She was married on a boat in the harbor. The next day, we spent some time walking around in town and were really impressed — enough to know that I’d like to spend more time there.

Looooove Charleston!!! My mom goes every year. In fact, she was just there. But if your trips overlapped, I doubt you ran into her drinking a beer. 😉

Charleston is definitely a beautiful place and a good destination to visit. Everything looks so nice and clean. I checked out the other links for the Charleston’s food and all of them look so delicious, yummy and appetizing. Your photographs really capture the splendid views of the city. I could also take all day taking some photographs if I am in Charleston

The fact that you love the town that I go to school in is absolutely marvelous considering I want to travel the world after I graduate just like you. Yayy! Reading this made me feel even more proud and excited to get back to school after I study abroad in Spain for a semester!!!
