Winter in Ohio sucks this year. I do not mind the snow because it is pretty (at least before it becomes an icky grey mess), and it means I get to snowboard.
But I do mind the terrible cold we have had this year.
So in order to survive what I hope is only a few more weeks of Winter weather, I went back and looked at some of my favorite photos that remind me of warmth, sunshine, and the beautiful colors of nature.
Some of these are from my recent trip to Nicaragua last year, and some are from my first visit when I learned the art of doing nothing during the early months of my travel sabbatical.

What is your favorite place to watch a sunset?
They are all equally beautiful sunsets and photos. I can not possibly pick one. They definitely make me feel warm and full of sunshine!

Sunsets are always incredible wherever they are! My favorite sunsets were in Rajasthan – in the desert, behind the Aravallis and on the blue city in Jodhpur.

That is so true! Even in my home city of Columbus, Ohio, the sunsets are so colorful and beautiful. Just have to sit and watch to appreciate it.

Like you, my favorite sunsets are along the Pacific coast of Central America — although Hawaii has some spectacular ones, too!
