Perhaps the most well-known waterfall in Jamaica is Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Rios on the northern side of the island. For those visiting the southern or eastern part of the island, there is another natural gem.
YS Falls is about an hour drive from Treasure Beach. If you’re driving, be sure to read these tips for driving in Jamaica. Roads are good until you get to the last stretch.

Tips for visiting YS Falls:
- This attraction is located on private property, so you do have to pay to enter. It costs a whopping $17 per person, but it is worth it because it is well-maintained.
- Plan to spend a few hours relaxing on the grounds to get your money’s worth. You can swim in various spots, rope swing, and do a canopy tour (extra expense for this one).
- Go early to avoid crowds. Tour buses start showing up mid-day.
- Closed on Monday. Check the website to confirm other local holidays when they may be closed.

I love the photos and I love the place. It’s such a great way to get memories through photographs. I’ll be able to start travelling next year since I no longer being bothered by jet lag. I found JetLagFX (http://www.jetlagfx.com/) . The only effective supplement against jet lag that I ever tried. It’s a must try for all travellers out there.

What a gorgeous place but $17? that’s a little too much for me.

Yeah… and it’s unfortunately because the price is ridiculous for locals.
