If I had one extra day in Madrid, I would have spent it exploring Parque del Buen Retiro. Retiro Park is massive (350 acres) and filled with elements eliciting the grandeur of is royal history. I imagine for those who live and/ or work in this busy city, it is quite the “pleasant retreat.”
